I REALLY enjoyed this book. . .was hoping to read book two, but it hasn't been written (or perhaps released yet). I sincerely hope Daniel Martin Eckhart continues this into a series. Fantasy, action, and a family's devotion/love for one another. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this book as a class read, enjoyable for adults and kids.Product details

The first adventures of a very special family, coming to terms with themselves and their past in highly unusual circumstances. Reading becomes addictive as plausibly developed characters drag you deeper into the plot, with quite a few surprises along the way. A fantasy world well rooted in "reality". Not my usual sort of book, but hugely enjoyable. Looking forward to the next chapter!
I'm so happy I have come accross Daniel Eckhart and his wonderful books.
They are always richly imaginative, magical and somehow within the weave of the gripping storytelling they manage to point to a deeper mystical wisdom.
I am happy to say that this book did not disappoint and I'm thoroughly thoroughly enjoying it!
SO MUCH FUN!!
I'm intrigued by stories that bridge the life we know with a world that is present just out of sight. Eckhart does this with aplomb in Tales of Wychwood. He has created impressive imagery and keeps the reader turning the page, wondering what's coming next. I read this book in a weekend and with the last page thought 'when's the next one coming out?' So Daniel Martin Eckhart.... When's the next one? I'm waiting....
That catchy title and artwork.... it is enough to make anyone go for this book... But story wise, it just negates the gravitational pull of Earth!!
What I like about Daniel's book is the pace, mix it with magic and you are in for a surprise... It's fast, its vivid, it is able to teleport you into the story, which is rarity in sci-fi and fantasy novels today. It's a reader's delight and when he gives it for free, it is actually a loot one should not miss!

Tales of Wychwood is the author's most accomplished book to date. It effortlessly brings together history and modernity, mystical and scientific, folk and folklore of old and present, all woven together in the author's own blend of magical realism. The book's well-rounded, colourful characters transport you to a world in which nothing is what it seems and everything is possible. The forest of Wychwood had me in its clutches within the first few pages. Energizing, liberating, magical... enchanting! Can't wait for book 2.
Reading this book was a joy. Such great characters. Loved the cat and the many elves. You will love this book.
Loved the book. It keeps me reading, held my attention. I had long since k now the outcome, but there were turns and the outcome was what I expected and a whole lot more
